2023 Free Passholder Programs

Passholders can complete a craft and enjoy a little hot chocolate and cookies while experiencing the Aquarium before it opens to the public.

Passholders can take a sneak peek behind-the-scenes in freshwater, complete a craft with one of our team members, enjoy Storytime with one of our educators, get your complimentary photo from the photo booth or just enjoy the Greater Cleveland Aquarium in a more intimate setting.  Passholders must be logged into their account to secure their complimentary ticket.

Musk turtles, minnows, poison dart frogs, moon jellies, garden eels, dwarf seahorses and shrimp … we’re ready to answer all your BIG questions about our smaller animal residents in real-time during this live, interactive online tour. This program takes place online. Advance registration is required and Zoom link will be emailed prior to the program. 

Cost: FREE for Passholders ($10 per screen for all others)

Join an Aquarium Educator for an Urban Bird Walk. We’ll find as many birds as possible and contribute to citizen science as we log the data in real-time using the eBird app. Compare bird species in the industrial flats to lakefront property at Metroparks’ Wendy Park. The Aquarium provides binoculars and a guide to common birds in the area. Please dress for the weather, this event takes place outside. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Duration: up to 2 hours
Total Hiking Distance: 2.5 miles
Date: Wednesday, April 17 @ 10am – noon
